These folks, Homeserv I believe, send a relative requests that she buy home insurance on our house. Then they use scare tactics to get her to buy home insurance on our house. Then when I call them they refuse to identify who “they” is. I am using proper English. I called the telephone number on this scam and asked who and why this was being sent to a person that doesn’t own our home. The person I spoke with referred to the sender as “They”.
There number [844-876-4708] only exist to accept calls for repairs. They, the operator, refused to identify HomeServe as the sender of this scam. The Operator continued to claim “They” sent the letter on behalf of AARP. AARP refused any responsibility for this scam as well.
It is exactly these types of what I consider to be scams, why I am not, nor will I ever be an AARP member. In my opinion, AARP facilitates these scams to their members.
Trying to have reoccurring charges.
